Ellie is now 3 and half years old!
Where do I even begin with this girl? She's my angel girl who I love to pieces. She is all things girly. We paint our nails together every couple of weeks and I love having that special time with her. She is loving and always wanting to cuddle with me, which most of the time I love, but sometimes not haha. She talks non-stop and tells me lots of stories. Whenever she sees an animal (bird, squirrel, kitty-cat) she yells "Mommy, Daddy LOOK! A hind you (behind you), there's a (inset animal name here) !" She does the same when she sees a bug and demands us to kill it. I've had to tell her more than once that we don't kill bugs outside. She loves, loves, loves swimming. She would do it all day, everyday if she could. So we pretty much do that. Her and Caleb now share a room (for about a month) and they do really well together. She loves waking up with her little brother to talk to. She loves otter pops, pizza, hot dogs, strawberries, avocados, and yogurt. So not much has changed in that department. Whenever we leave somewhere she likes to bring 12 things with her, but I have her narrow it down to two. They often are books, stuffed animals, bags with her clothes packed in them, strollers, bikes, etc. Anything she can think of really. And when she's packing said bags/purses and I tell her we need to go she says, "okay, just a minute!" I think I say that a lot. She seems to be happiest when we're doing things together as a family, even if it's yard-work, dance parties, or laundry. It makes me happy that she loves when we're all together, because that's what families are for.

Caleb is now 15 months old!
This kid is a bruiser. He climbs, runs, plays, and laughs all day long. He also can be demanding and whiney if he doesn't get what he wants (like another otter pop, or if he wants me to hold him). He loves playing outside and like Ellie, loves the water. It took him a couple swims to get excited about it, but now he gets angry when I have to take him out. And since my child is a little stubborn he also gets mad when we're in the water because I have to hold him. Apparently he wants to run around in the four foot deep water without consequence. Church is fun, especially because he doesn't want to sit and be good for very long. Luckily he can handle sacrament pretty well, but the rest of the two hours are just shot to... unpleasant places. He is starting to love Mickey Mouse, but only the first minute and half of the show where there is singing. After that he makes me rewind it. Over and over and over. He is still a great sleeper and very, very rarely cries when I lay him down. He understands when I ask him to do things (like throw things in the trash or hamper, get his shoes, etc) and it is awesome. He is a pickier eater than Ellie (and something I'm not used to) but is getting better. And yes, I still nurse him. He is almost all the way weaned, but not quite. I'm hoping we'll be done soon. He also loves sharing a room with Ellie and they seem to pretty even with who wakes who up; half the time it's him, half the time it's her. He's easy, lovable, and oh-so-kissable. He too, loves when we're all together as a family.| Always climbing. |
I'm so grateful for my little ones. They are both very unique and such joys in my life; they make me a very happy mother.
And here's a vid of the two cuties themselves. And no, I don't normally have him run around in a diaper, but yes I do let them go outside all the time without shoes.

Love the update on your cute kids. I cannot believe how much our kids are alike. It's CRAZY! Love those kids and you guys!!
