And...we moved. Again.

For the past month, we have been packing and getting ready to move to our FIFTH home together in less than five years. Wow. We move a lot. But we plan on being here for a while and are SO excited. There were several reasons for us wanting to move and when we found this place, we let the metaphorical chips fall where they may and it couldn't have been more perfect. We've had so much help and I can't thank everyone enough. Definitely my in-laws Lesa and Sheldon for helping paint, clean, pack, moving, etc. And Trent too, even with his busted hand! Tristan is the best mover because he's so organized, so I just follow his lead and this one was just as smooth as the other four.
Our new home. A whole mile and half away from our other one.
(Picture taken from my car because I'm a stalker like that).

Today we emptied out our old house and filled up our new one.
As you can see, Ellie was most helpful. As was Caleb.

They were having a blast while everyone moved things for them, especially when mom puts them in the cab of the truck to get the full experience.
Selfie in the back of the empty truck! They were lovin' it.
Of course there was a lot of loungin' and doughnut scarfing going on, but it was all to be expected.

Thanks to our plethora of diaper boxes and a friend who gave us an innumerable amount of moving boxes, we were set. Thank you AnnMarie! I had a great time labeling the boxes and drawing horns on the picture of the little baby on the huggies box. He was cute, and perhaps I shouldn't teach my little ones defacement, but it had to be done for a little comic relief.

Trent, takin' a breather. Brian, Jeff, and Tristan were a great trio. Also, thanks to Stewart, Ron, Larry, and Sheldon. We had all of our life's contents moved over to the new house by 1. Amazing.

Caleb seems to like his new home, but I know for a fact that Ellie loves it because she tells me all the time. We have a lot unpacked and it already feels like home! I can't wait to start making memories here.

  1. Sealed the deal huh?! Not moving for at least another year? ;). I love the house . Can't wait to see pictures of the inside. And yes, this is demanding you to take pictures of every room inside once your settled. You rock!!

  2. What a cute house! And I can't believe that you've moved 5 times in 5 years. We were such whiny babies when we moved into our house and we don't even have any kids- I can't imagine moving with kids. Props girl.
