Nine Months

Mr. Caleb has now been outside my belly for as long as he was in it. Crazy. I feel like my pregnancy was waaay longer. Anyway, it sure has been exciting seeing him learn and grow.

He's speedy Gonzales with his crawling, pulls himself up on everything, climbs up the stairs in two minutes flat, and is juuuust starting to walk along things. I've only seen him do it a few times. 

He has two bottom teeth and the two top ones are making their way down, I think. He still likes to bite/gnaw/suck on my cheek.

How hilarious is this kid? 

Caleb is now in Ellie's old carseat (aka "the Throne") but we have it rear-facing, of course. I think he's much more comfortable without the infant seat. I actually think he's been without the infant seat since 7 months, now that I think of it.

He's a big fan of peek-a-boo. (Also, ignore my freaky voice, it sounds a tad devilish at the end).

He has slimmed down a little, I think, but his thighs are as yummerific as ever. Size 12 months and up.

Bath time is one of his favorite things in the world. He loves to splash and explore. I got a super cute vid of Ellie and Caleb that I'm going to post in the future.

Sleep is the same as last month; 12 hours a night with normally one feeding at night. One or two naps during the day.

I still nurse him, probably 4 times a day. It's super quick before he wants to take off again. He's starting to not like "baby" food and wants what we're eating. If Ellie has an otter pop, he will not leave her side without a taste.

He likes himself some good music to dance to. He does this all the time. Even to Ellie and I singing. Or with anything that has any sort of rhythm (i.e. the washing machine? No joke).

He's pretty much always up to no good. 

And he still does his awesome "Chewbacca" sound (or maybe it's more of a banshee). Really it's just him rolling his Rs, but it cracks me up every time. Ellie never did this!
