Vacay

I'm a few weeks late, but at the beginning of September we went to Southern California for a week to enjoy some time with the parentals and baby sis! It was much needed.

We spent a good amount of time in the front yard playing in sprinklers and with hoses. 

Grammy (yep, I insist on my children calling her that) gettin' squirt! Zoom in and check out her face. Great job Ellie. Mom, this is a marginal pay back for all the times you got me soaked.

Ellie also really loved my parents cat, Sam. They also have another one named Jasmine, but Sam was her fav because he let her play with him.

I got to go to one of my best-friend- in-the-entire-world's open house (she was married the week prior in the Mesa, Arizona temple). Also, just so you know, I was wearing about 4 inch heels, she's got a lot more height on me than this picture leads on...

Got to go to the ward I grew up in and see some familiar faces. Caleb loves his grampy gramps.
My dad gave himself the name "grampy" which I love. He also nicknamed Caleb "the Cabeman" I love it. 

Sunday evening was spent with family. Relaxing, talking, eating my grandpa's famous "Sunday Soup"

I got to catch up with my good friends Brittany and Cassie and their little ones. (The two in the middle are twins).

It was pretty darn hot this day. Okay not really, but a little bit.

We were also able to go to the temple, on a date, to the park, and dinner. We really enjoyed our time with my family. Love them! We also spent one full day at Disneyland... the post is coming up next (Too many pictures to put it in one post).
