Disnaaaay...Land

While in Southern California, my parents had to work, so we took the fam and Stevie and enjoyed ourselves a magical day at the Happiest Place on Earth (yes, I did capitalize that). 

This was on the tram--I knew since Ellie was having so much fun just on our way to the park, that this day would be amazing.

During a family pic I was trying to get, Ellie got upset and wanted to go on the Peter Pan ride without having to wait in the line (approx 15 min). But We still got the picture (even if by force).

Just so you know, there is no way Tristan and I could have done this trip without her. We switched off waiting in line for rides, some rides it was just Tristan and Ellie, others was all of us. So grateful she joined us. Love you so much Stevie!

She LOVED Minny's house. She still talks about it everyday. 

Even though she loved Minny's house, she didn't really like me ruining her time there with pictures.

Again, force was used. (Isn't it obvious from her face from the picture on the left?)

Stevie and I went with the kids to the Disney Junior show at California Adventure while Tristan went on the Tower of Terror. It worked out perfectly. And Ellie was LOVING every minute.

This was our first visit to Cars land! It was soooo cool. Ellie literally passed out as we waited in line for one of the rides. There was no waking that child; Tristan tried to set her down, but he said "she was basically sleepwalking." Too funny. So we went and ate and let her sleep for a little bit. 

Caleb took a bunch of naps too. He was so good. I love these pictures of Stevie and him.

This is one of my favorite rides of all time-- Midway Mania (or as we call it Toy Story Mania). 

Tristan went on with Ellie, and Stevie, Caleb, and I went on together. It was so fun and Caleb loved every minute (even though he wasn't wearing those super cool 3D glasses). It's an interactive ride where you play carnival games and get points. Tristan and I went on together during our honeymoon and I beat him. And guess who's still reigning champ? Sorry Tristan, you know I had to give you a hard time about it... (and with a 6 month old in my lap, I got some serious gaming skillzzz!)

We went on the carousel a few times too before the park closed. It was, I think, Ellie's favorite ride.

We were super tired. Tristan's face says it all.

Overall such a super fun trip. We didn't do nearly as much as we could have, but I was completely satisfied with all the magical things we were able to do in the allotted time. Nearly a month later and Ellie asks almost every day if she can do to Disneyland. Worth every pretty penny.
