Christmas Day

Christmas this year was lots of fun to get ready for. Ellie is older and was excited about tearing up the wrapping paper. We spent Christmas Eve with Tristan's parents and had pizza! I've never had pizza for Christmas Eve, it was awesome. Then we came home and wrapped everything (we couldn't do it earlier because then Ellie would open them all). And it was hard enough keeping everything hidden from her in our limited-storage apartment. Luckily she didn't notice the huge box covered in a sheet in our bedroom that had her kitchen in it haha.
After we finished all the wrapping!
Christmas morning was so fun to see Ellie's expressions. She didn't get up until 9 and came out and walked right past the living room but then stopped when she noticed stuff under the tree. It was so funny to see.
She played with the toys even before she finished upwrapping them.

She loves this princess couch! And it's actually what she slept on when we went to my parent's house for new years.

Books from GoodWill are awesome. (D.I. is too far away)

I always get Tristan useful things for Christmas. This year was a shaver. It was much needed, his other one was gaining some years. I think he also liked the NBA tickets I got him (Kings vs OKC, he loves both of those teams). Perhaps not as useful, but much more enjoyable.
I helped her open her gifts, she helped me open mine.
He knows me well. He also got me the Sandlot. My all-time favorite movie. Tristan tries so hard to find me things that I'll like, and I think it stresses him out. But he always ends up surprising me.
She loves anything and everything that has to do with babies. She was VERY excited for a stroller set. She continues to comfort me with her love for little ones the further along I get in pregnancy.
Tristan played some Christmas hymns at Gmas and Gpas, and Ellie decided to join in. The flash still doesn't agree with her haha.
And I snuggled this girl up tight, I love her so much.

And of course I forgot to take pictures at the grandparents house. But we were really blessed for Christmas and New Years this year. To be surrounded by those we love and remembering the gift of our Savior from a most loving Heavenly Father.

  1. Ellie is seriously getting big. She is so cute! And thanks for the Christmas gift ides for next year, haha. I was thinking a baby stroller type thing would be fun but Charly is way too young to appreciate it now :D miss you guys!

  2. Hey! B got the same stroller set.... I wanted to get her a kitchen, but Andrew didn't want to move it, and I have her birthday coming up in April anyways! You will have to let me know if it would be a good idea for b or not! You all look adorable! Ellie looks adorable in her pjs (b has the same ones and I love them). Adorable, as always!
