The past few weeks have been busy and fun!
We've been having lots of fun celebrating Ellie's birthday and preparing for Christmas!

This is me saying to Tristan, "you haven't been taking any pictures?"
Ellie
was blessed to get a lot of fun, cute things that any kid would love!
But my favorite was her new bedding to go with her new toddler bed! I searched high and low for bedding that would match the green crib for our little guy and found this girl beauty. I'm pretty sure I love it more than her, but that's okay.
The
first night of the transition was a little stressful, but it's been
over a month now and she is completely used to it and loves it. A few
times we found her sleeping next to the bed, door, and on the recliner,
but other than those three times, she's always in that bed sleeping.
She's always been really great at adjusting to change-- bassinet to
crib, new apartments, bottle to sippy, she's been easy. Thanks for that
Ellie girl!
This is Ellie is her birthday outfit from my mom and sister. It's much cuter in person, but still cute in photo.
For FHE we went to Dovewood Court-- a cute little cul-de-sac that totally decs out their houses.
It really wasn't that cold for a beanie, but she looked cute with it on.
And she was majorly impressed with the HUGE Santa on the roof.
One house even converted their whole garage into Santa's workshop. Now that's sacrifice.
We went to Grandma's and Grandpa's to make some Christmas sugar cookies.
Ellie
really liked to roll the dough in a ball and then help me roll it out.
But she wasn't very good with the cut out part. Needless to say, we did a
lot of rolling out the dough.
And we've been enjoying seeing the Nethercott's a lot. They're pretty awesome and really good at entertaining. And Ellie and Gwen get along so well! And since Cari and I are so close in pregnancies, it's been nice to go through the journey together.

And
I just had to add these cute little snapshots of Ellie. I love her
just-woke-up eyes. And the one of the right is just her pleasant little
self. She's such a good daughter.
And quick update of the pregnancy:
I'm 30 weeks now and everything is going great!
But
since having started the third trimester a few weeks ago, it's already
harder to sleep at night (constantly turning back and forth as well as
getting up to use the bathroom constantly) and feeling a bit more tired.
But really, no complaints. Doctor said the baby is doing perfectly and I
was measuring at 31 weeks. He kicks all the time, it's rare that he's
not. I love it and never tire of it. And still getting braxton hicks
like nobody's biz. I got them a lot with Ellie, and since this pregnancy
has been nearly the same as hers, I wasn't surprised to feel them at 20
weeks. Excited to be getting closer to meeting our little guy!

Happy Birthday Ellie! and glad to see you guys are doing so well! We wish you a very Merry Christmas :)
