15 months

Ellie is 15 months today! She is wild and crazy and absolutely a BLAST.

Some stats: weight 20.6 lbs (16%) height 31.7 in rr(87%)
The nurse kindly pointed out that her height must have not come from me.

She gives the biggest, best kisses and hugs ever.
She sleeps well: 8:30pm-8:00am with one 1 1/2- 2 hour nap around noon.
She rarely lets me not pay attention to her.
She's pretty much a trouble maker.

She eats mainly all the foods I can eat, but her norm is yogurt or applesauce for breakfast, sandwich for lunch, and chicken with veggies for dinner with lots of snacks in between.

She likes looking out windows.

She loves Dolls and likes to pat them on the back and give them pacifiers.
She stills pulls everything out of the drawers.
She has started to love her blanket and wants to bring it out of her crib with her when she wakes up. (Her favorite blanket was a Christmas gift from her Uncle Trent!)

She drinks water all day and a glass of whole milk at night. Our friends call her a camel because she drinks so much water. I'd say that's pretty accurate.
She won't watch TV for more than 5 minutes, she's so active! Which is a good thing, but proves difficult when trying to get a few things done.
She's good at saying "no" by either saying it or shaking her head.
She throws tantrums every once in a while, but normally has a speedy recovery; I'm sure it will increase with time, yipee!
She makes silly faces.

And lately she's started grabbing my hand and pulling her everywhere with her. I love it.

She also loves dancing! It's so cute! Hopefully I get a video soon.
There's not many things that compare to being a mom.

(And she now has 12 teeth! She's sportin' 2 new top molars)

  2. Brooklynn has a blast with Ellie. We are sure going to miss her, when we move. In the morning when I get her from her crib, and say, "where's ellie?" she looks around, and when she spots Ellie is goes absolutely crazy. They both get all giddy/laughing and big smiles. We like that Ellie girl too :)
