Thanksgiving and haircuts

So I've decided that the reason I've been not so great at blogging lately is because I don't have to do homework anymore. Therefore I'm not trying to avoid doing assignments by blogging instead. I also rarely find myself on the computer these days! Which I'm grateful for, but feel bad that I can't remember as many details of our lives. I also work a couple days a week which also hinders my blog. I can think of about ten other useless excuses, but I shall be better if not for the children! CHILDREN: appreciate this one day!  Carrying on...

Thanksgiving week was so fun for us. We got to hang out with our friends at the park (which happens a lot, but not so much recently due to heavy rain).

Two of my fav girls Whit and Mags with their second borns. They're such good mommas and I'm so grateful to be surrounded by them and so many others. It makes being a mom that much better. And also that's me holding AnnMarie's little Scout. I'm amazing at putting her to sleep.

We also got to go to Penryn for their amazing mandarins. This is a fall tradition and they are amazing! We went through a ten pound box pretty quickly and now I'm wishing we would have got more.

I also took our kids to get their first haircuts ever! That's right, my almost 4 year old and 20 month old had never got their hairs cut.
Ellie was super excited, we cut about 2-3 inches off maybe?
The next day she requested to get it cut again, and shorter.

Caleb sat in Tristan's lap and immediately started squirming. Thanks to Tabby's tip, I quickly pulled out the magic tootsiepop and he proceeded without complaint.
My two beauties afterward.
They cut off a lot of Caleb's blonde (although this picture doesn't make it look like it) and now he just looks so big, I can't get over it. Ellie looks like the beautiful little girl that she always is.
Tristan's turkey cake that he made and came up with all by himself. I heard him cutting and taping and asked him what he was doing to which he responded "nothing!" And then I saw this beauty. Majorly impressed Trizzle.

Thanksgiving day was spent at the Seger's (as usual) and we ate lots of delicious food (as usual) and just sat back and relaxed. The kids always have fun with their cousins. Thank you Nathan for another great meal!
Me and my boy, Tristan and his girl. (Ellie doing crazy eyes, love her).
Then I tried to get a picture with the two of us and we just seemed... out of sync haha.
I'm so grateful for my two little ones and an amazing husband. I'm so thankful that our family is surrounded by those that love and care about us and my kids. They love their Nana and Papa and Grammy and Grampy so much! We are so excited for the Christmas season and to get to see more of them!
