I'm a slacker, I know. But let me tell you about our fun Easter activities (hereby dubbed "Eastivities"). We had two Easters this year, one with the Turners and one with the Warners. It was so fun.
Forced them to take some selfies with me. Not really interested.
Fun games! And Tristan throwing the Frisbee at me while I'm trying to take a picture!
There was a ring toss and sand bag throwing and pinning the egg in the bunny basket.
It was a little much for this crazy girl. Love you Allye.
For dessert they made a nest for their peeps. So cute (and delicious) (except for the peeps) (those are gross).
While the kids were playing games, I hid probably 50 eggs inside for all the kids to find. I'm so sneaky.
They had a blast finding them. Ellie was loving it. Caleb didn't really have an opinion on the matter...
...He cared more about trying to escape into the garage.
While we were finding eggs inside, Nathan was outside hiding the glow-in-the-dark eggs. Again, so sneaky.
Ellie absolutely loves egg hunts at night. She never wants to put her flashlight down and gets so excited when we find an egg.
Segers and Trent and Lesa helping out with the Egg hunt.
Then we finished off the night reading the Easter story. The kids actually sat still for this part.
Well not Caleb, but Sheldon doesn't mind playing with him haha.
Later on that week we went to an Easter activity at Emeritus Assisted Living home where Tristan's grandma and grandpa live. It was cute and the kids loved it because what child doesn't like egg hunts?
Lesa and her dad, Allen.
Ellie and Allye liked dancing to the music.
Hailye, Grandpa Neer, Lesa, and Allye.
We also went to a primary activity and had another egg hunt! The kids loved their suckers and searching for some candy-filled plastic eggs.
See the blue egg on the right? She's got a good arm.
Caleb walked around, picked up an egg and ate all the stuff inside while she was doing all that. Such a good brother, reminds me of mine.
We also colored some eggs!
We had a great Easter. Love these two little ones.
