We had such a fun Valentine's weekend. The day before Vday we had a blast celebrating with some girl friends and had a little kid party where we exchanged goodies and ate lots of delicious food that were shaped like hearts and dipped in chocolate. So fun.
The girl's made crowns. Caleb works it, don't you think?
That day we also took family pictures that I've wanted for a while and was so happy with them. I'll hopefully post those soon enough.
Tristan is a simple man. He's also a frugal man. So I tried to do something for him that was inexpensive but still let him know we love him. So Ellie (with the help of Lesa) went and decorated his car while he was at work. I wanted it to embarrass him, but I don't think it worked.
Ellie had so much fun putting hearts all over!
That evening, my in-laws put together a little Valentine's celebration for their grandkids and played games and had goodies all while we went on a date! It was so so sweet and thoughtful and made for a fun evening with my main squeeze.
We went to dinner and galavanting around stores. It's always fun hanging with this guy.
Tristan got Ellie and I some Primroses. This is our compromise because he doesn't like to buy flowers that die. I'll take it, I just love flowers. And Ellie and I have been having so much fun watering them!
We've also enjoyed sometime in our backyard! Playing with bubbles and shooting some hoops.
It wasn't so much shooting hoops as much as Ellie running around and Caleb chasing the ball.
Love my two little loves. They're the sweetest.
