Five Months

I have a 5 month old on my hands and it is awesome!
Let me tell you a little bit about this boy:

He is content just sitting on your lap. He doesn't like being left alone in a room, and you had better pay attention to him.

He loves to chew on his hands and recently discovered his feet. He drools like crazy and because of this I have to change his onsie a few times a day. Also because he still spits up; when I think it's getting better, he gets it all over me! So I never know, but I don't mind.

He does not sleep through the night yet. Bummer. He still wakes up once or twice to eat. Luckily, he chugs and is back to sleep. This momma is back asleep in 20 minutes, so it doesn't bother me. At night I still swaddle him, but I've started unswaddling during nap times. He's getting better and is starting to get used to it. His favorite position is on his stomach, smushed up against the crib, or else it's his head buried in the mattress (which I don't like, and when he's asleep I move it hah).

He reaches and grabs for toys, my phone, otter pops, water bottles, books, and Ellie's hair.

He's still a full-time nurser, but is starting to show a lot of interest in food. I don't think he'll last much longer without it. I waited until Ellie was 6 months, but I may start him sooner. And who knows, maybe he'll start sleeping through the night!

He is a super happy baby. If you smile at him, he will smile back. The old couples at Winco love it.

Ellie is still the best at getting him to laugh, although I'm pretty good too.

He loves to watch Ellie. Loves it. And I love that he loves it. And Ellie is loving that she can be a little rougher with him since he's getting bigger and actually play with him!

He loves his bumbo, bouncer, and swing (although I don't put him in that hardly at all anymore). Also, Caleb can now sit up! Like, all by himself. He's a champ. He's been doing in for a few weeks now actually, but this last week, he became a pro and learned how to catch himself so he rarely falls over anymore.
He loves to be sat up or on his belly.
love this happy boy!

He's still a big fan of bath time, especially since I now give him baths with his sister (who also loves it). They have lots of fun. How cute is his little toosh?? Don't you just want to eat it?? Okay maybe that's just me... ;)
Sometimes he gets mad when mommy leaves him on the ground to shower and falls asleep after crying for a while. Haha

Some more pictures of my little guy sitting up.
Well, I guess he's not so little. He's actually super chunky. I'll have to post a picture of his oh-so-edible thighs sometime in the future.
And of course, Caleb is a super big momma's boy, but he also loves his daddy. And I think his dad loves him just as much back.
