Hospital

Caleb's been having some problems this last week with projectile vomiting. In fact we took him to the ER last week because he did it for 5 feedings in a row and I was worried about dehydration. I was concerned that he had pyloric stenosis (I would explain it, but it's easier to look it up on google) but the doctors thought I was just overfeeding him. So I've been very careful, but he would still projectile vomit about twice a day. His weight has still been pretty steady, but Tristan and I both knew something wasn't right.

Today, however, we took him in to have an ultrasound and guess what? He's positive for pyloric stenosis. We were admitted into the hospital right away and he has to have surgery tomorrow. I have been relieved and anxious all at the same time. It's minor surgery, but surgery is still surgery. So please say a prayer for our little guy.

We love you, Caleb!
