Well kind of. It snowed all weekend, but it's practically melted now! I have high hopes for the spring and am excited for the beautiful, springtime weather.
And, although the weather hasn't been so "spring-y", I've been embracing the sunshine anyway by indulging in some spring-ish activities:
We went outside! Frontyard and our awesome backyard too.

It was 45 degress that day and absolutely beautiful! She we went on walk around our neighborhood. Which, I didn't realize before, is full of kids! They just don't come out unless it's warm. They were everywhere, and I loved it.

We painted toenails with Aunt Britt.
We walked with Uncle Andrew to G's Dairy--our fav ice cream place that is now closer than the previous 1/2 mile distance.

I always get anything that has to do with peanut butter.

I don't think that Ellie minds.

We've been recently introducing Ellie to our great past time of horsey rides. Britt and I used to give them to each other up the stairs; yeah, I'd say we're comparable to CEOs of horsey rides. Naturally, Ellie loves it. I don't think Tristan minds it either.

Tristan and Andrew take adventures to Best Buy.

She is loving the sunshine! As am I.

We're in for an exciting, sunshine-filled spring! And no amount of snow is going to convince me otherwise.
I just realized I need to see Ellie again soon.
ReplyDeleteAnd how come you only painted the nail of her middle finger? Has she been practicing something?
ReplyDeleteHaha! It was actually just a sticker thing, and she wouldn't sit still for me to do the rest. It was off about 15 minutes later.
DeleteIts true-the kids only come out when its warm! Feel free to stop by Trejo next time. We'll have pool parties in the summer :-)
