Tristan's Birthday

Tristan is now 27!! 

You're so old buddy. Just kidding. But really he's been sayin' he's old since he turned 22.

So because of Tristan's irrational hatred toward the Lakers, I had to do what any loving wife would do and post this on his Facebook wall (and again on my blog, for all to see).

Gives you goosebumps doesn't it?

So because Tristan's birthday was on Sunday (the thirteenth) we went out on a hot date the night before. Thank you Sheldon and Lesa for watching the kids. 

We went to Chicago Fire for dinner, it was delicious. Even as leftovers.

The lighting was really bad on his side, that's why my hand is in the picture. But on my side it was great. I told him to come sit next to me so we could take a selfie and he denied me! The nerve.

So I took a picture anyway because I wasn't wasting the great lighting. 

Then we went and saw a movie and enjoyed actually watching a movie. It was weird.

On his actual birthday Nathan made some delicious tri-tip and a bunch of other goodness to celebrate.

Since I didn't get any decent pictures of him on our date, I tried to get some on his birthday. Mission=failed. Good thing I love him anyways.

I was able to pull off a small surprise for him with this delicious oreo ice cream cake. I think it is favorite, I kind of just decided it was and should be his favorite. Perhaps I should ask him ;).
