I'm behind on all the fun activities we've been doing so I decided I'd put them in chronological order in one really long post full of lots of pictures. Our summer started back at the beginning of April and so get ready for an overload!
Water fun in the backyard!
Hailye, Allye, and Ellie
This is my idea of playing in the water. With a hose.
They love it!
More time in the backyard...
Countless park days.
Sunshine means plants are growing, as are the weeds.
Which means more time in the backyard! Ellie likes to help Tristan with the yard work, but only if she gets to wear her sombrero.
And Caleb agrees to it if he gets to hang out in the toy shed.
He's the cutest.
A few weeks back Tristan gave us a tour of Intel...
...where we learned exactly what it is that he does all day.
Including, but not limited too, foosball and building legos to replicate the buildings he "works" in.
Jaykay Trist, you know I love you.
Bounce town visits for the few times it did rain.
I love going here because it's not only great for the kids, but fun for me too!
(Plus Caleb and I are free)
Selfie at the top of the two story slide with Allye and Ellie.
Action shots!!!!
Caleb would go down with me, but was indifferent. These kids on the other hand...
They have a big bouncy house too, and a few more slides and fun things too.
We had a girls princess "tea party" for all the girl cousins (Ellie, Allye, and Hailye) hosted by Nana.
I even let Ellie put some make up on.
The picture on the left is her excited to put some make up on, and the picture on the right is after we're finished and she doesn't get to put anymore on.
The three princesses: Hailye as Cinderella, Ellie as Rapunzel, and Allye as Belle.
Drinking some tea (Sprite) at the tea party dressed as Rapunzel. I guess we need to work on proper princess etiquette, but at least she has her pinky up!
Lesa had goodie bags with everyone's name on it and lots of delicious appetizers. I think it's safe to say we all had a blast.
We also went to another tea party for Tristan's grandma at the assisted living home where her and her husband live. It was for Mother's Day.
They even got custom made hats (made by Lesa) and lots of delicious treats and snacks.
Tristan and I got to drop the kids off with the in-laws (can't thank them enough) as we joined seven other couples for a short get-a-way in Jackson which is about 40 minutes from Folsom.
The Martin's property was something like 200 acres.
It was absolutely gorgeous.
They had two beautiful cabins where we ate, played games and shot some shot guns.
Tristan testing out the gun (I have no idea what it's called).
Caitlyn and I shooting guns for the first time.
I didn't really like it, but at least I tried it.
And since I was so ill-prepared I didn't even bring a sweater, so Caitlyn let me use her Aggie's sweater.
Tristan, Matt, and Austin getting ready to shoot the clay thingys (I forgot what they're called) that Joe and Scott are about to fling.
Then we played boys vs. girls in backwards charades. I think we tied. It was so fun.
I think in the picture the word was "knitting".
We also played sardines, but forgot the the couple was hiding. Thankfully I remembered and we found them in the empty pool.
Brooke, me, Caitlyn, and Aimee.
And I had to share this picture because it's just too cute. All those babies are less than two months old. Not many things more precious than dads and their babes.
Such a fun night. And to end it, some hot tubbin'!
Swimming with friends at Maggy's house.
Playful afternoons at the house.
Caleb, after finishing an ice cream sandwich. And Ellie trying to freak me out. Mission accomplished. I have no idea how she does that but it freaks me out every time!'
Tristan has gone with our friend, Preston Stauffer, to countless Kings games. This time he got to go to a Rivercats game (which is the sacramento minor league baseball team).

We've also gone to Garret's baseball games too!
Nathan was the coach and Trent helped out too. And that's Garret in the picture there too.
His games are always near parks so we enjoy ourselves. And Caleb gets some time with Uncle Nathan! He loves it, as you can see.
More water time at the local splash pads.
Garret's birthday party also involved lots of water time.
His b-day party was also on memorial day.
Where we had two BBQs and more water fun.
Garret and Caleb playing with the birthday present we got him.
I'd say it was a hit.
Lots of time in Nana and Papa's backyard too!
And some milkshakes also. Caleb did not like sharing. I love the picture on the right with Sheldon letting Caleb and Ellie "help" clean the leaves out of the pool. They were in heaven.
And last Saturday was Garret's last baseball game of the season. He did so great!
So I made him take a picture with me.
Then everyone wanted to join in. I didn't mind one bit.
And look at Ellie on the left. She always makes that face when I tell her to say "cheese". What a little sweetie, I can just eat. her. up.
Summer hasn't even technically begun, but we're certainly enjoying ourselves!

Could you get any cuter? Seriously. Adorable. I'm sure your so tan. How fun are you ?!? B would be in Heaven with all the water play! The picture of you shooting the gun... Looks like a teenager.
