We met 3 weeks after he got home from his mission. He says he had an English accent, but he totally didn't. He emphasized his words like an English person, phrased his sentences in an English way, and said English words (like "cheers love" and "rubbish"... actually he still says those), but he did not have an English accent. Sorry Tristan. We started dating in November 2008 and got engaged March 2009.
This was the main thing that got me to marry him.
Just kidding, there were other reasons too. But this was a BIG factor ;)
Some engagements
That one of the right was in our wedding announcement.
Just kidding.
Marriage.
For my bridal shower, my sister asked Tristan questions about me. This was the last video she took.
Even though the Lakers haven't really been great the last few years (so sad), I always like to give him a hard time. (And so does my sister. And my mom).
If
someone would have told me where I'd be in life on my fourth wedding
anniversary, I don't think I would have believed them. But I sure am grateful
for the way my life has panned out. Tristan is awesome and always has his
family, our safety, and all of our needs being met, as his number one priority.
He's handy and knows how to fix things around the house and outside, he's
frugal (which is good because apparently I am not), kind-hearted, and is easy
to please. He'll eat anything I cook (even if it's nasty) and jump up and help
me with anything I need the second I ask him (or don't ask him). Ellie has him
wrapped around his finger. He does NOT like to change poopy diapers (but will
do it if he has too). He can watch EPSN all hours of the day. He's great at
doing dishes and mopping the floors. He can have pizza 23894 days in a row.
He's the hardest worker I know. AND he always knows how to makes me feel
better. Hey Tristan, thanks for marrying me 4 years ago.
For our anniversary we had plans to go to the temple and dinner, but it's closed! I was majorly bummed. So we went to the batting cages instead. It was so fun. (I got this idea from you, Tasha!)
We dropped the kids off at Tristan's parents--thanks for watching them!
Playing the bat like a flute. Funny kid.
Do you see the difference in form? Tristan only missed maybe TWO of his balls. I maybe only hit TWO of my balls. I finally figured out to switch to softballs and I did soooo much better. Still, it was a sad sight to see when it came to the baseballs. He's so nice though, he kept telling me how good I was doing... blah blah blah. He's a good husband.
We went and got some DE-LISH Thai food and were in heaven.
Such a fun evening and a great way to spend our anniversary.

Wahoo! I keep begging Andrew to take me back, maybe when his parents are here at the end if September. Your writing seriously makes me laugh. I love that you two can have such a fun time together too. And than you end your night with Thai... Why the haaaaiiilll did we never double. Shoot dang we would of been a fun double couple.
ReplyDeleteI totally forgot about that video! Didn't I make Tristan confess to the Lakers winning a championship or something? And guess what Andrew and I did on our anniversary? We had Thai food. haha! Still twins!
