Baby Updates

I had a beautiful baby shower a couple weeks ago and was blessed with lots of cute little boy outfits.

Unfortunately, I'm not that great at taking pictures. BUT my sister-in-law did take one of the awesome dinosaur cupcakes. I LOVED it and was completely surprised by it. My SIL, Tabitha, and MIL threw it for me. They are so thoughtful and decorated everything super cute.

I am currently 38 weeks and feeling pretty decent. I get a pretty good amount of sleep at night, but I'll be honest... I can get pretty uncomfortable. The heartburn doesn't help. The cashier at Winco kindly pointed out that it looked like I was carrying a pumpkin and that I must be due any day now since I looked like I was about to pop. I was 36 weeks at that time. So yes, I'm ready to have this baby. But really, I can't complain. This pregnancy has been smoother than Ellie's and my doctor's appointments always go well. I have contractions quite a few times an hour, but most of the time they're just uncomfortable and nothing to get excited about. I'm hoping I'm progressing at least a little though (next doctor's appointment is next Tuesday, so we'll see...)

Yep, definitely looks like I'm carrying a pumpkin.

I'm almost 39 weeks, and my due date is next Saturday, crazy!

I've had everything ready since 36 weeks. All the clothes are washed and ready, crib is set up, boy boppy cover, new diaper bag, swing and pack 'n play ready, newborn diapers, so we're ready for ya little guy!
