Halloween-ish Activities

Halloween is always super fun! And it's been great being in California for it because we didn't even have to wear a sweater. Her first experience with Trick-or-Treating was awesome! I definitely got a workout too because she was too shy to walk up to the doors so I had to carry her the whole time. Needless to say we just went around the block. Still fun though.

And I LOVE passing out candy to trick-or-treaters. I love seeing their costumes and making funny comments, most of which they don't get. And I think they loved me because I told them to take a huge handful of candy and pick whatever they wanted. That's all they really care about anyway, right?

Ellie was a Cheetah! I didn't let her look at her self in the mirror or else she would wipe her nose and whiskers off.
At our ward trunk-or-treat playing games with dad.
Ellie with Cinderella and Captain America!
 Trunk-or-Treat!
By the end, Ellie was just going up to people and pulling candy out of their buckets.
She was definitely taking advantage of people because she was so cute could get away with it!
Nathan and Tabitha's van. Ellie knocked down the black light a few times.  (Sorry guys!)
There was also pumpkin carving and "scariest cupcake" battles. Garret's cupcake won by a landslide. I think the scariest part was seeing him eat it... I didn't think it was possible with toppings piled that high. A well deserved win, Garret.
From the left: Spider, Tinkerbell, Batman sign, goofy pumpkin, and the classic Jack O' Lantern.
My pumpkin is the most amateur one. Can you guess it?
That's right, it's the one on the far right. I've never understood how people make such awesome pumpkins. But one day I will figure it out.
