4 kids and Oakland

This last weekend was busy and fun!

Tabitha and Nathan (my BIL and SIL) were really excited to go out without the kids for the first time since Hailye was born (3 months ago), so we offered to watch their little ones. So our Friday night was so fun with Garret, Allye, Hailye, and Ellie! They really keep us on our toes. After a delicious meal made by Nathan, we went and enjoyed some time outside!
Garret, Allye, and Ellie playing soccer with Tristan while I held Hailye. I love how I caught Ellie mid-fall. Niiiice.

Garret being such a good brother/cousin, pushing Ellie and Allye down the slide together.
Don't all cousins have to take a bath together at some point in their life? This is definitely not the first.

It took many weeks of getting Hailye used to a bottle, but she finally took it without putting up a fight (thus why we were able to watch her). I warmed it up with hot water to perfection, and as you can see, she is so comfortable in Tristan's arms that she could barely stay awake!

After playtime, baths, cleaning up all the toys (since all of them were littered all over the apartment), we watched a movie and ate some popcorn. Am I not the coolest Aunt?! I was very determined that night to earn the title. Also I changed 3 poopy diapers that night--So I def deserve to be known as the cool Aunt.

On Saturday, my parents came up from Southern California to watch my brother in his bike race! So naturally we joined up and had a really good evening together.
My brother lives in Oakland, which is about 2 hours away. It was so beautiful going past the bay.
Mom and Dad plus some of the sibs
My oldest brother, Andrew--he's one cool guy and always has me laughing.
It was a short visit, but a good one none-the-less. It's always fun being with family.

Ellie always has fun when Dad gives the baths! Naturally.

And this is just a cute picture I snapped sometime this week of Ellie. Every evening after our nightly routine, she likes to cuddle up next to me. It's probably my favorite part of every day.

  3. You guys sound like you're doing so good. Ellie is just getting so big. There are times when I sit watching or am playing with Kenneth and I think back to the fun times I had with that sweet girl.
