I love my Ellie girl.

I love finger prints all over my laptop screen.
I love smashed goldfish on my carpet.
I love the tarred pages in my textbooks.
I love toilet paper all over the bathroom floor.
I love clothes pulled out of all my drawers.
I love shoes sprawled out all over my bedroom.
I love the pile of DVDs that is our living room.
I love mixing bowls all over the kitchen floor.
I love when Daddy has her on his shoulders, that she pulls his hair as hard as she can.
I love every content in my backpack, out of it.
I love the poopiest, stinkiest diaper you can think of.

I love that when she cries at night, she stops right when she sees me.
I love her big grin and the 8 teeth that show when she smiles.
I love that sometimes she just wants me to hold her.
I love when she comes up to me, grabs my pants, and just looks at me.
I love when she's half asleep and snuggles her head into my shoulder.
I love that Daddy can always make her laugh.
I love folding her little shirts, and matching her tiny socks.
I love when she picks up a blanket and plays peek-a-boo with me.
I love that she follows me around the apartment.
I love that she's content with sitting in my lap as I study.
I love that when I pick her up after class from the baby-sitters she crawls toward me with the biggest smile and won't let me set her down.
I love that when she's sick, she just wants to be held, even at 3 in the morning.
I love when I'm tired at school because I had to stay up late working on homework since most of the day was spent with my little Boo-Boo.
I love that when she cries she goes "ma ma ma"
because maybe she needs me as much as I need her.
