Okay fine, I'll post something...

Per multiple requests of fellow bloggers who think that the fact that Tristan and I are going to be parents is "old news" (yeah, that's you Ashleigh) I've decided to do a little update. Here it is:

Tristan: goes to school where he learns about computer hacking skills. He then goes to work and fixes the dorm girls' nasty toilets and showers. After that, he comes home and I "make dinner" and we do the long list of never-ending homework.

Markie: goes to school where I either learn how to sew mitered corners on a quilt, learn some abstract french cooking method, or learn something about how come lipids aren't digested in the stomach or why kidney stones hurt so bad. I then do either one of two things; lifeguard or take care of the elderly at an assisted living home. Not that I don't like saving little boys lives, but wearing a life vest will not undermine your masculinity. Not if you're 5. And not that I don't like changing some folk's urine soaked bed sheets or watching them puke up the first pill I give them when they still have 12 more to go, but it can wear down on a girl! (I really do care about them, I promise). I then come home from one of those two places and attempt to make something for my starving husband.

So that is how we spend most of our days, with a variation of hanging out with Steve and Christie and little Bree who never fails to entertain. Yesterday I walked into their apartment and saw Bree who's face had an oddly yellow-ish glow to it. You might think "angel"? Quite the opposite actually. She was eating macaroni and cheese and smothered cheese all over her face and hair. Oh Bree, you silly girl. She's so funny! And despite the fact that she had nastiness all over her face, she was still the cutest, dimple-faced little girl ever!

Can you tell I'm excited to be a mom? :) We find out what we're having July 15th. Awesome, right? I'm starting to show quite a bit. I'm moving out of the "has Markie gained weight?" stage into the "is Markie pregnant?" stage. I can't wait until I'm in the "Wow! Markie's huge!" stage. And I know we all loved my alien/nacho libre mexican wrestler baby, I'm ready for some new pictures!

But anyways, that's what's been going on. We are going to California next weekend for a wedding (the weekend after the 4th) and then a couple weeks later we'll be going to California again for more weddings! Hope everyone has a great Fourth of July with loads of food!
